Trường hợp phát âm đuôi -ed là /id/:Động trường đoản cú tận cùng bởi /t/ hoặc /d/

E.g: Needed (cần), wanted (muốn), decided (quyết định)

Tính trường đoản cú tận thuộc là /ed/

E.g: Interested (thú vị), excited (thích thú)

Quy tắc phân phát âm đuôi -ed là /t/

Trường đúng theo phát âm đuôi -ed là /t/:

Đuôi -ed được phát âm thành /t/ khi cồn từ tận cùng là các phụ âm vô thanh như: /p/, /k/, /f/, /ʃ/, /s/, /tʃ/, /θ/ (hoặc tận thuộc là những chữ cái p, k, f, ch, sh, th).

E.g: Helped (giúp đỡ), washed (rửa), watched (xem)

Mẹo ghi nhớ: Ta hoàn toàn có thể ghi ghi nhớ nhanh những trường hòa hợp phát âm đuôi -ed thành /t/ là “Sáng sớm chạy mọi phố phường”.

Trường đúng theo phát âm đuôi -ed là /d/:

Đuôi -ed được vạc âm thành /d/ trong toàn bộ các trường đúng theo còn lại.

E.g: Played (chơi), smiled (cười), opened (mở)

Mẹo ghi nhớ: nước ngoài trừ những trường hợp của /id/ cùng /t/, toàn bộ các trường hợp còn lại phát âm đuôi -ed thành /d/

Phát âm đuôi s es là /s/

Đuôi s es được vạc âm là /s/ khi âm cuối của từ một âm câm. Âm câm tức là âm phải sử dụng môi để phát âm mà chưa hẳn cuống họng. Có 5 âm câm trong tiếng anh -p, -k, -t, -f, -th

VD: /k/ works , /k/ ‘k: looks, /p/ stops

Phát âm đuôi s es là /iz/

Đuôi s es được phát âm là /iz/ lúc tận cùng từ bởi -s,-ss,-ch,-sh,-x,-z,-o,-ge,-ce

VD: misses /misiz/ ; watches

Phát âm đuôi s es là /z/

Đuôi s es được vạc âm là /z/ khi âm cuối là hầu hết từ còn lại.
